Like some others came over from OSO. Looking for something and people more local than nationwide.
Been in, on, around and under the water my whole life both professionally and for recreation. I've owned all different types of boats from tunnel hulls to airboats. Now I have a Formula 292 SR-1 "Primal Urge". There's a lot more to these type boats that I originally thought. After spending 15yrs as part of a rescue team for a nationally recognized professional motorsports Organization I am a true blue gear head. I'm more apt to talk to you about performance, X dimensions, drives or props than paint jobs or sound systems. I'm in the process of redoing the exhaust and a few other things that need to be addressed over the winter the previous owner didn't do. I've set my sights on running the Texas Outlaw Challange next year. Hope to run across some of you down the road or on the water. Not sure how to post pics here so if you see the orange and purple Formula come by and say hi.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Ok let me see if this pic loads.

Capt I'm in the Houston area. Usually I'm in Galveston or Trinity Bay Area. Since I'm not far from the water.
I wouldn't mind making a trip to some of the lakes this summer. Ive got a lot of work to do before then but it's possible I may do it.

What do you know it worked! Thanks for the direction Capt.

That pic really doesn't do it justice. Removed the factory swim deck hence the exhaust rebuild.

Here's a couple more pics

New exhaust parts. The other two risers are on the workbench to be better polished.

Beautiful color scheme. She's a looker! Oh yes, a boat owner's work is never done. I know my list is always about the same length no matter how much I do.

Thanks Capt. Colors weren't my choice, but it has grown on me. It's definitely an attention getter, everywhere I go people asking questions and taking pics.

Well you know what they say, a boat is a hole in the water you put money In!

Definitely a little more Fountain colors than Formula, but I dig it.
