Other than 2nd degree sun burn on my face and about the same for my first mate (if youR sun screen is expired, thro that shit out!). All went really well for me. I'll definitely be doing some things different next year logistically.

I didn't have any issues what so ever with my boat, she ran like a sewing machine all day. Really really happy about that. Makes the checking every nut, bolt and clamp, rechecking, then checking it all again worth wile. The ol' girl even hung with that 496 laden Donzi, until hoses start popping off  He's got the length on me and about 20 mph top end too. But I was gonna make him work for it lol.

The ship channel was a little bumpy heading south. Think we all got a little air time at some point. I know I sure did, i heard the props clear the water several times. What I wouldn't give for some pics or vid of that! It just felt good, it had to look good, right?
Snapped a couple of phone pics of Capt underway, one of his crew got a couple of me as well.

#1 hand was holding 4 Aces!!!! Hard to beat that. Best I did was K,Q and J once out of 5 hands, bout par for the course lol. But it was a good day sunburn and all.

For those speed freaks. Texas boys Kenny Mungle and throttle man Lee in Gone Again Skater took the top spot in the Shootout @167 mph!
A guy from NC ran 97mph in a jet black 22' V bottom single engine Donzi! That thing is wicked fast. I talked to him later he said he's run 107mph regularly, I don't doubt it a bit. The water wasn't in his favor with 1' rollers 97 is still hauling the mail!

Good times for sure!

Doesn't look like I was doing 50+ in this pic lol. Just getting back in the water after a little airtime.

I'll make a better post later on, got back last night and still busy finishing up all the trip odds/ends.

Great trip, had a blast. Great running on the Poker Run, some sporty water to begin with but it smoothed out pretty quick. Got some hard running coming back from Galveston, gave her about five miles of WOT for the GPS shootout competition. Still choppy enough I couldn't keep all that boat in the water long enough to beat 78.8. I'd see that 78.8 several times then the water would drop out, hear the props spin up a little, land and be around 75. Oh well, had a blast doing it!

Had a damn fine poker run hand but it wasn't enough...three aces and a king, then just kept getting low cards.

I am told we are to go down there at some point, and I am to follow you around. Maybe we should make the fall fun run down there this year :)

Looks great guys, glad everyone is safe and had a good time. I believe I owe it to someone to go next year. Just saying.

I appreciate the offer! This year is a bad year for us. Kinda stuck at home or getting treatment. I hope we can all meet up later in the season though:)

I understand completely. I wouldn't do anything different, your focus is where it needs to be!
Let me know when y'all can make it and I'm in!

Nice looking rides and nice video Capt. I was depressed all weekend long knowing you guys were running Outlaw. Count on me next year running again!!! I will finally get to burn some serious gas this 4th July weekend at Canyon Lake.

I figured you'd be there, thought you were playing the sleeper card and just going to show up. There'll be more pics to come I'm sure.
