Good source for custom aluminum?

The last thing my trailer needs is some new supports for the fenders. Can anyone recommend a good place to get custom aluminum?

Those guys look like they make some great stuff. Makes me miss the Mainland and the creative craftsmanship you can find. Not too much of that in here in the islands..

I think probably either of those guys should be able to help. I actually don't need anything fancy, I just need some strips of aluminum cut to my sizes. I was hoping we had someone local in the Austin area.

Hey Evan,
If you are just looking for some good size aluminum, you know like I-beam, maybe C-channel, you should look at metals 4 u, right there in Round Rock. I bought some 2" square tubing in there, and they cut it to the sizes I needed. Really cool people, and have example sizes of everything right there at the sales desk. They are on the south bound access road by grand ave. I think. Hope that helps.

You know what, that gives me an idea. I think I could probably do pretty well for myself with some 2" tubing, some bolts and really beef this thing up.

Yes. I made one out of a 7" piece of 2" X 1/8" aluminum bar stock.
its not pretty but it works. I had a CGM polemaster Adapter and used it to mount the polemaster camera.
